Our Story
What started as a dream slowly turned into a reality. I’ve been in speciality coffee for about seven years now, and my passion for craft coffee began in Denver, Colorado, at a small shop called Monk & Mongoose. It was there that I started learning about different processes, understanding extraction, dialing in espresso, and truly appreciating the craft behind every cup. In 2025, I went back to school to complete my prerequisites for nursing. But after a semester, I realized I was being pulled a different direction. While I’ve always had the heart for serving others, I found the same fulfillment behind the coffee bar, connecting with people, creating a space, and making others feel seen and understood. One of the things I’ve always loved most about working in coffee is simply observing. Behind the bar, you ge to witness life happening all around you, conversations unfolding, relationships building and meaningful moments being shared over a couple cups of coffee. I began to ask myself: how can I combine my passion for people with my love for coffee? Thats where the idea of a coffee cart company was born. With the support of my community and faith in God, I started to see this dream come to life. My goal is to create handcrafted drinks while fostering a warm welcoming environments where people can slow down, connect, and share meaningful moments together.
Now where did the name Stoneroad come from? When it came time to name my coffee cart, I realized I needed something that truly reflected who I am. At first, I tried thinking of fun, bright, and catchy names. But none of them felt right. They didn’t represent my story or the journey that shaped me. My life hasn’t always been easy, Ive experienced hardships in both my childhood and adult years, and I couldn’t ignore that when thinking about something meaningful. After every difficult season there was always growth, beauty, and joy that followed the painful paths. Thats where Stoneroad comes from. Stoneroad represents more than just a name, it reflects my life and walk with God. It symbolizes a path that isnt always easy or smooth, but one that holds purpose in every step. A reminder that even in hard seasons, there are lessons, growth, and unexpected beauty along the way. Every moment, every conversation, and every cup of coffee carries meaning when we take the time to notice it. Located in Dallas, Texas
